Priest
Kyle is now officially a Priest. I can't believe it! Wasn't it just yesterday he was wearing his uggy hat and simba suit? He spoke in Austin this sunday. Our bishop has our priests once a month speak in other wards. I think this is a great idea. This gives them practice writing talks and givining them getting them ready hopefully for a mission. Next week Kyle will bless. Yikes!

I bet the Austin ward was interesting. That was one of the cool things about being transferred every 3-4 months; you got to check out new wards and all of their wacky people.
ReplyDeleteThe first time i blessed, we ran out of bread and someone had to run to Smiths to buy more. We were sitting up there for 15 minutes with everyone staring at us...
That won't happen to you Kyle!
He said the ward was really small and there was a retarded guy who sat in the front row and would yell out every few minutes so they would have to stop talking because he would be talking real loud. He's nervus about blessing. Luckily we have a laid back bishop who doesn't stress mistakes.
